City officials join neighbors for BBQ in aftermath of North side tornado

Mayor Rybak and Council Member Samuels will be talking with neighbors at a barbecue hosted by Cub Foods 5 p.m., Monday, May 23 at Cub Foods located at 701 W. Broadway in North Minneapolis.
This barbecue will be an opportunity for North Side residents to gather, have a meal, and heal following yesterday’s tornado. Cub Foods, General Mills, Kemps, Oscar Meyer, Jerry’s Enterprise, and Pan-O-Gold Bakery are donating food for the barbeque and Urban Homeworks will be there offering information and resources regarding cleanup for those affected by the tornado.
