Michelle Obama made two campaign stops in Minnesota last week Mon., Oct. 13. In St. Paul she spoke to a crowd of nearly 4,000 supporters at Macalester College.
Obama spoke to the rapt crowd about the campaign's focus on the economy, the Iraq war, education reform and energy policy. "Barack gets it," she told supporters. As of last week, national polls show Sen. Obama leading Republican Sen. John McCain by double digits. According to npr.org, in Minnesota, the Obama-Biden campaign has a nine-point lead over McCain-Palin.
