(Health and Wellness) Teen pregnancy major concern for teens in Minnesota

Teen pregnancy continues to be a major concern for teens in Minnesota.  According to The Minnesota Organization of Adolescent Pregnancy, Prevention and Parenting (MOAPPP) reports that in 2007, Hennepin County had 1,165 babies that were born to teen mothers 15-19.   The second highest birth rate was in Ramsey County with 733 births, followed by Anoka County with 281 and Dakota County with 271.  In total Minnesota had a total birth rate of 5,182 within this same age group.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and customers at Pick ’n Save, Copps, Rainbow and Metro Market have the opportunity to help breast cancer research and the environment.  New pink reusable bags are on sale this month at all stores operated by Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the bags will go to support breast cancer research.

Reform health to care

One of the most difficult experiences by a family with a(n) aging parent(s) is the prospect or need for medical care that is so serious that surgery is recommended. This becomes all the more complicated by a family when most of them do not live in the same city as the aging parent. I support wholeheartedly health care reform, because I believe that everyone is entitled health care and information. Increasingly I am convinced that a public option is necessary. I am very troubled by what our family is experiencing.

These are some of the many excuses that people use to avoid exercising regularly.  Most people know it is important to get some form of exercise, but do not have motivation to do so.  Motivation to exercise differs from person to person.  So what exactly does it take to get you motivated to move?
This article will give readers some basic ideas that can get them motivated to exercise just a little more.  All of the following ideas may not be for you, but hopefully, you may be able to use at least one motivational idea.
