The 29th Annual Rondo Days celebration takes place Saturday July 21st from 11am to 6pm, at the MLK Park 270 N. Kent St. St. Paul, MN 55104 . Rondo Avenue, Inc. is to celebrate the rich history and contributions of the African Americans community to the City of Saint Paul; and to reconnect and transmit the "Rondo Culture, Values and Lifestyle": to our future generations. The theme this year is "Putting the 'U' back in Comm "Unity". Rondo Avenue, Inc. is dedicated to preserving, conserving and accurately interpreting the contributions of African Americans in and around the Rondo Community. The theme aims to re-frame Rondo to support the mindset that each of us can make a difference in our communities. Over the years, the Rondo Days Festival has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to its yearly venues. The annual signature events that have always celebrated the Rondo legacy will be back once again this year. They include: Annual Senior Dinner on Thursday, July 19th from 6-8pm at Mount Olivet Baptist Church sponsored by the Black Ministerial Alliance; Grand Parade on Saturday, July 21st, registration beginning at 8am, St. Peter Claver Church (starting point), 5K Walk and Run on Saturday, July 21st, registration at 8:30am, Hallie Q Brown Community Center sponsored by McDonalds;
