Obituary: Cheryl A. Carter-Giller

Cheryl A. Carter-Giller, age 63, of Minneapolis, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, with her husband and daughter by her side at the University of Minn. Fairview Medical Center in Minneapolis after a prolonged and heroic battle with angiosarcoma.

Cheryl was born Oct. 29, 1949, in Ashland, to Peter J. and Ellamae Kupczyk.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Richard Giller; a brother, Peter Kupczyk (Chris); a daughter, Chrysten Houston (Covelle); and two granddaughters, Kayla and Kori Houston.

A private Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be held at a future date.

Cheryl will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
