Teen pregnancy: Parental guidance needed, but lacking

E-mail Print PDF

Many African American teens in the Twin Cities are dealing with issues common to teens across the nation. Teens are wrestling with how to become independent contributing adults, develop meaningful relationships, voice their dreams and concerns in a world that seems not to listen, make a difference in their communities and/or deal with issues such as addiction, pregnancy and violence. For the next six weeks, Insight News will be addressing some of these issues in the series Black Teens: Growing up with Eyes Wide Open. Insight invites teens, parents, educators and others who work with teens to write us about the series and about your experiences.
