Exhibition for artist Julie Buffalohead to open at Minnesota Museum of American Art project space in DecemberThe Minnesota Museum of American Art (MMAA) will present the first major museum exhibition of Julie Buffalohead's artwork, opening Thursday, Dec. 18.

Buffalohead, born in 1972, is an enrolled member of the Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma. The Minnesota-based artist has enjoyed both critical and popular success with her playful yet provocative drawings and paintings.
